15/03 Today would have been a good day to have had a lover with me. I set out with sunrise over a green misty valley, through intriguingly romantic Pambula and along a long deserted beach. There's still a few hours left in the day to find myself a lover somewhere in Bournda National Park. Maybe I'll be in Tathra tonight. Wish you were here!
Letter : After my shower at Tathra beach I estimate I must be the cleanest and most pretty swaggie for miles.
After finding myself part way along the bush trail as night fell I was forced to camp the night. Walking into Tathra township this morning I was pleasantly surprised to find a place which doesn't depend on the tourism you seem to find in other coastal towns.
Pambula is a romantic township for me without really knowing why. No need to ask too many questions sometimes, just enjoy the magic.
In Merimula I found my tucker bag had rubbed out a hole in the back of my pants. I tried in vain to seek out a replacement pair from Op Shops. I hope to find some soon, my modesty is suffering!
It's been getting warm out walking the Princess Highway, so I've been unbuttoning the top few holes of my shirt. After getting some yahooing from passing cars I was reasonably flattered, until I looked down and realised my fly was open.
I've been bedding down at dusk and up with the kookaburras' laugh most nights, in my swag for up to 10 hours. I usually awake for an hour or so during the night with a strong urge to write down an idea. With no light I normally try to remember one key word for the morning light. This morning I've forgotten my word. I think it was 'red' something.
Chat soon
Swaggie
